# Software for ethnographic and qualitative data analysis

[Dedoose](http://www.dedoose.com/) is a software tool developed by <span class="caps">UCLA</span> faculty, Thomas Weisner and Eli Lieber for use in mixed methods research. It is web based, allows for collaboration, has a suite of visual tools, supports text analysis and the datasets can be imported and exported to other qualitative software, Excel, or other statistical packages. There is a 30 day free trial version available.
