# Mobile Device Management Now Available With Sophos

The current <span class="caps">UCLA</span>-wide agreement for Sophos anti-virus software has been renewed through October 2018.

The decision to renew was based upon input from numerous key stakeholder groups <span class="caps">UCLA</span>-wide. Input identified that Sophos effectively fulfills UCLA’s anti-virus needs, and that the cost to change to an alternative solution would outweigh any potential benefits.

Renewal negotiations resulted in favorable terms, including:   
<del>—Unlimited coverage for <span class="caps">UCLA</span> owned or leased devices  
-</del>-Unlimited coverage for personally owned devices of faculty, staff and full-time students   
<del>—Upgrade to Endpoint Protection-Advanced  
-</del>-Addition of Sophos Mobile Control

Sophos remains <span class="caps">AVAILABLE</span> AT NO <span class="caps">COST</span> to <span class="caps">UCLA</span> departments, faculty, staff and students for work and home use.
