Laptops are available for students to check out from various UCLA Library locations.

Renting Laptops
UCLA students, faculty and staff with a valid UCLA Logon ID and password can borrow a laptop from CLICC for limited daily use. 
 Those who are not able to use these services, or for those requiring a longer loan period, they can contact their department for additional resources, or contact a local commercial computer rental company. One such company is:

Equipment for loan on campus - cameras, etc.
Here are some places where faculty and/or staff and/or students can borrow equipment for coursework, teaching and/or research. Please update this with any new offerings that come along! 
 Laptops and tablets 
 
 CLICC .Loaner laptops and iPads are available for loan from CLICC . For laptops, see http://www.library.ucla.edu/clicc/laptops-more for more information. For iPads, go to http://www.library.ucla.edu/locations , select “Equipment” under Locations, then click “iPad Lending”. Available to anyone with a valid BruinCard. 
 Cameras 
 Video kits are available for loan from CLICC for anyone with a valid BruinCard. The video kits are charged through your library account – just like the laptop, books, and ipads. At this time, video kits are checked out for a period of two business days. There are currently two (2) GoPro kits available, as well as two (2) iPad video kits. Each kit contains a myriad of accessories designed for video production, and you can additionally check out other accessories like a tripod if needed.
