Are Moodle blog entries limited to a certain length?

Is there a limit to individual blog posting size? When I posted a longish blog (5-6 paragraphs) it only shows the first couple, with no link to anything else. But when I go back to edit mode, the whole thing is there.

I did some searching and there was a very long thread about why and why not limit blog and comment entries. There doesn’t seem to be one at present.

I was about to create a 3120-word entry by copying and pasting something from the web. I had no problem viewing this blog entry as myself or my test student user.
