needato decide what level of access you’d like to be the default level for anyone enrollingpassword in thesite with the enrollment key. “Student” access is probably preferable since it will allow the enrolling person to complete any activities you’ve posted and to input data where applicable. Alternatively you may choose “Guest” access, which will disable the person’s ability to accomplish any tasks requiring data input. To choose which level of access you wish to grant, scroll up to the sectionfield labeled “General”Enrollmentandkey.” - Set “Guest access”
is setto “Allow guests who have the key.”
You may also want to change the setting for “Default role,” since this is the level of permissions someone will acquire when they use the enrollment key to join the site. Usually, “Site default (Student)” is what you want for those who should be able to interact with the site, but not modify the contents that appear on it. However, if you want anyone who enrolls with an enrollment key to be able to modify the site as an instructor, change the setting for “Default role” to “instructor”.

Provide the enrollment key to whomever you wish to grant access to your course. If the person enrolling is to receive Student access, he will need to enter the enrollment key only when he logs in for the first time. If receiving Guest access, he will have to enter the key each time he logs into the site.
