How do I reset my BOL account password?
Resetting a Forgotten Password:
If you have a BOL account and have a valid University ID, but have forgotten your password, you need to reset your password using one of the following methods:
- Reset your password at https://www.bol.ucla.edu/cgi-ssl/accounts/passreset/ if you have established a Challenge/Response phrase previously.
- Stop by the BOL Help Desk located at Kerckhoff Hall, Suite 124. You will need to bring a photo ID in order to verify that the BOL account belongs to you.
If you do not have a BOL account and you have a valid University ID, you may apply for a BOL account at https://www.bol.ucla.edu/cgi-ssl/accounts/newuser/
For Instructors:
If you had a BOL account and have recently been reappointed OR if you don’t have a BOL account and are newly appointed, you might not be able to reset your password or apply for a new account because your University ID may not be valid yet. Please do the following:
- Call the BOL helpdesk at (310) 267-4357 option 2 to find out the standing of your University ID and your eligibility.
- If the BOL helpdesk reports that your University ID is invalid, contact your departmental MSO (For Engineering)
If you must have access to CourseWeb before the problem with your University ID is resolved, you may apply for a SEASnet account at the SEASnet Helpdesk, 2684 Boelter Hall. You will need to bring a photo IDANDa letter from yourMSO. You must circleSTAFFon the application form (not Faculty, which is for ladder faculty).
