Placing orders under the UC Zoom Agreement
UC’s Zoom rep (Michele Fairbank) asked that we share the following guidance/reminder regarding placing Zoom orders under the UC-wide agreement. Please disseminate this information to individuals placing Zoom orders at your location.
1) When placing initial orders for Zoom licenses and subsequent orders to acquire additional Zoom licenses, ALWAYS initiate your ordering process by contacting Michele (michele.fairbank@zoom.us; 805-248-7282). This will ensure that licenses purchased by UC are under the UC agreement pricing and terms.
2) Do NOT order Zoom licenses via the Zoom website. Doing so may not automatically provide the UC license terms or pricing.
3) Please remember that, under the terms of the UC Zoom agreement, initial purchases of Zoom Education require a minimum quantity of 20 licenses, and subsequent purchases under the same Zoom account require a minimum quantity of 10 licenses.
Apparently some UC folks tried purchasing via the Zoom website which resulted in the wrong (higher) pricing, and delays in their license acquisition process.
