How do I configure the UCLA Directory in Thunderbird?

  1. Launch Thunderbird
  2. Click on TOOLS → ADDRESS BOOK
  3. Click on FILE MENU → Select NEW → LDAP DIRECTORY
  4. Enter the following:
  5. Name: UCLA Directory
  6. Hostname: ldap.ucla.edu
  7. Base DN: ou=person,dc=ldap,dc=ucla,dc=edu
  8. Port Number: 389
