How do I configure the UCLA Directory in Thunderbird?

  1. Launch Thunderbird
  2. Click on TOOLS → ADDRESS BOOK
  3. Click on FILE MENU → Select NEW
  4. Click on LDAP DIRECTORY
  5. Enter the following:
  6. Name: UCLA Directory
  7. Hostname: ldap.ucla.edu
  8. Base DN: ou=person,dc=ldap,dc=ucla,dc=edu
  9. Port Number: 389
