Can I send an email attachment to my class roster?

Social Sciences ClassWeb and my.ucla allows instructors to send mail to their class roster via their services. However, ClassWeb does not allow for email attachments, while my.ucla does. ClassWeb does not recommend sending email attachments to class rosters mainly because:

1. Email attachments vary in sizes and might end up overfilling mailboxes, so students can potentially lose the attachment you sent to them
2. Not everyone uses MS Word, WordPerfect, etc.
3. There is potential to transmit insecure data
