What is HTML and how can I learn it?
HTML, or HyperText Markup Language, is the basis for all web pages. Written in a text editor on one system it can be interpreted by web browsers on other systems. Some people learn it by saving a sample web page to their machine, using FILE / SAVE AS, then they edit that page with a text editor or commercial or free HTML Editor (such as Mozilla Composer or http://www.nvu.com). Then they look at it with their web browser FILE / OPEN FILE command. Once it looks the way they want it, they upload it to their own web server.
