What is Heat Software (formerly Lumension) and What Does It Do?

Heat Endpoint Managememt and Security Suite allows department IT personnel to proactively manage threats by automating the collection, analysis and delivery of computer software patches throughout their department.

In order to support compliance with the campus Minimum Security Standards for Networked Devices (UCLA Policy 401 http://www.adminpolicies.ucla.edu/APP/Number/401.0), this agreement is centrally funded and is available for use by all UCLA departments at no cost.
