The mailing list service handles subscription request for a mailing list and distributes new messages, or other postings from the list’s members to the entire list of subscribers. The software that is handling out mailing list is called Mailman, which provides and easier to use, intuitive web-based interface for administrative tasks. BOL mailing lists take the form of LISTNAME@lists.ucla.edu.
